The Ombudsman of the Basque Country will host the seventh annual Conference of the International Association of Language Commissioners in Bilbao, Spain on September 7 and 8, 2022.
The INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF LANGUAGE COMMISSIONERS assists the language commissioners role throughout the world by promoting best practices and standards of excellence and by advancing language equality and diversity.
The IALC seeks to build links with international researchers in order to advance understanding of multilingual language policies and the role of ombudsmen in promoting and protecting language rights.
