The Ontario Ombudsman was proud to host the sixth annual Conference of the International Association of Language Commissioners in Toronto, Canada on June 26 and 27.
The INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF LANGUAGE COMMISSIONERS assists the language commissioners role throughout the world by promoting best practices and standards of excellence and by advancing language equality and diversity.
The IALC seeks to build links with international researchers in order to advance understanding of multilingual language policies and the role of ombudsmen in promoting and protecting language rights.
